Triggerpoint myofascial Continuing Ed.

Last weekend was fantasic.  I Learned how to hone in on both active and latent trigger points in the muscles. For the lower back pain relief we studied the hip and glute muscles, palpating them very specifically, adhering to the direct lines of the muscles.  It was slow and deep work.  The trigger points can be a little tender when being released, but more than worth it in the end.  To learn about what exactly a trigger point is, google it.  There are some good articles out there.  We also worked on the QL, or quadratus lumborum, on each side….
